Oh my! The colours are so great! They really add a tone to the picture! I love her and her dragon! Also, the back really adds character. Fabulous job, as usual!

It's always so nice to see new work from you! Maybe I am prejudiced by DevID XII, but these seem like highlights from some sort of travelogue or diary.

There is a great feeling of tonality and mood throughout your work, and this piece in particular shows a really effective use of negative space. The only thing you might consider in the future is possibly using some sort of rim highlight on the figure to bring it out a little more. This is minor though.

Thanks! I actually did start to paint in some rim-lighting (you can see a tiny bit on the shoulder spikes, actually), but I find that whenever I do it, it seems to flatten the subject and make the whole thing more two-dimensional...not sure why.

The Entropy ate my homework.

I actually ran into a similar problem with the last image I did, and looked around at how other artists approached this sort of lighting. It seems a common solution is to introduce a secondary, much weaker light source in a contrasting or complimentary color to pop the subject forward.

I love your paintings.

Her eyes burn like the sun...very very pretty. Great job, I love the colors!
